Creative Refresh Retreat was a weekend workshop to collaborate and refresh our craft, our spirits and our vision. We spent our time in beautiful Texas hill-country creation worshiping, creating, collaborating and learning from each other and the Holy Spirit. What an awesome time of refreshment we all had. It took place at the MO Ranch in Hunt Texas. Nestled on 500-acres along the spring-fed Guadalupe River, Presbyterian Mo-Ranch Assembly is located in the heart of the beautiful Hill Country in Hunt, Texas. Mo-Ranch is open to the public for spiritual retreats, conferences, summer and day camps, weddings, reunions, group meetings, corporate retreats, vacation getaways and individual reservations.
Created is the ministry that held this retreat. The mission of Created is to help all people connect to the healing heart of God through the creative arts and to equip Jesus followers to use the arts to bring the hope of Christ into a broken world. Every soul has value in the eyes of God and creativity is a doorway for people to connect with Jesus, find healing and learn their value to Him possible through the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
My non-profit Kairos Creative Arts Center has a similar mission. I was also able to have an art ministry session with 4 ladies in San Marcos Texas. It was a Holy Spirit led art ministry session that I facilitated. It took me 2 years to finally do this which I feel God wants me to do in the future with my non-profit.
