Kairos Creative Arts Center is dedicated to fostering community through art education, blending creative expression with the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Our offerings include art workshops, micro art business development, and opportunities for personal and artistic growth. Recently relocated to Roswell, New Mexico, Jan Pomeroy, the founder of Kairos, is actively building connections with the local arts community. She has joined the Roswell Fine Art League, is showcasing her work in the gallery, and has been teaching art classes and showing at various art shows to help integrate Kairos into the community.
Jan’s previous experience as an artist-in-residence includes mentoring individuals with disabilities, creating an inclusive and supportive artistic environment for all. Kairos Creative Arts Center was previously located at Thornton Road Studios in Austin, TX.
At this stage, our primary goal is to raise funds for a dedicated venue where we can continue our mission. The envisioned space will offer studio rentals for local artists, classrooms for art instruction and workshops, and exhibition space to showcase local talent. Your support will help us build a creative hub that serves as a resource for the Roswell arts community and beyond.

I will be offering Created Sessions in the future. This is a ministry God birthed through Ashley Rogers. (www.createdministry.com) Here is the Created Story:
I am A creator. I am created to create, and so are you.
Created was born from a God-sized dream to re-introduce the arts to a world of people who are often terrified of it. It’s for children and adults; painters and finger painters; thinkers and doers; musicians and writers. I longed for a way to combine my love for art, Jesus and people. After a year of planning, praying and building, we opened the Created Studio in 2009. Over the first several years of the ministry’s existence, hundreds of people walked through the old red doors to experience a session in which they were able to be still, listen to the Holy Spirit and create what God was speaking to them. God has used these sessions to bring healing, hope, joy, vision and encouragement. It started to become clear however that He wasn’t done with His vision. Created went outside the walls of the studio. We went into homes, conference rooms, nursing homes, communities, retreat centers and rehabs. He showed us how to use these creative sessions in new and deeply impactful ways in order to reach diverse groups of people with the love of Jesus. Others began to reach out to ask how they might eb trained to use the arts as a ministry tool as well. From there, the Created Arts Ministry Program began. Whether through writing workshops, open worship time to create, family creative sessions or community outreach events, we pray God continues to use Created to connect people with the beautiful heart of Jesus through the creative arts.
We would love to have you join us in this glorious adventure!

Living in Kairos Time
If kairos refers to an opportune time, what would it mean to live life more fully aware of kairos moments in our life? It means using our chronological time to serve a greater good.
“Who knows but that you were brought to the kingdom for a time like this?”
